Three moments and one profile. You install at home on your own wifi, you arrive already connected, and the second trip needs no install at all.

Three ways to install. Pick the one that fits.

Most people never see a QR code any more. If the first way does not work on your phone, the second and the third always do. Choose your handset.

Automatic

iOS 17.4 and later. The way almost everyone installs.

  1. Tap install in the Orbislo app or in your order email.
  2. Confirm in the sheet your iPhone opens by itself. There is nothing to photograph.
  3. Turn data roaming on for the Orbislo line when you land.

QR code

For a second device, or an order placed on a desktop.

  1. Open Settings, then Mobile Service, then Add eSIM.
  2. Point the camera at the QR code in your order email or in your account.
  3. Name the line Orbislo, then set it as your data line when you land.

Manual entry

The fallback when the tap and the camera both fail.

  1. In Add eSIM, choose to enter the details by hand.
  2. Copy the two values from your Orbislo account into the two fields.
  3. Leave the confirmation code empty unless your order shows one.

Install at home on your own wifi, before you fly. The profile waits until you land. Data roaming left off for the Orbislo line is the answer about six times out of ten when an installed eSIM shows no data.

Questions people actually ask

Will an Orbislo eSIM work on my phone?
Almost certainly, if the phone was bought in the last five years and is not locked to a carrier. Open Settings, General, About on an iPhone and look for an EID; on Android look under Network and internet, SIMs, for an option to add an eSIM. If either is there, you are fine, and our device pages list every model we have checked.
How quickly am I connected after landing?
The profile installs before you fly and activates when it finds a network at the other end, so connection happens while the plane is still taxiing rather than while you are looking for airport wifi. There is no QR code to scan on iOS 17.4 and later; the install runs through Apple's own provisioning link.
What happens to data I do not use?
It stays in your wallet. Nothing expires, so an unused half of a plan is there for the next trip whether that is next week or next year. The industry norm is a plan that dies after 7, 15 or 30 days and takes your unused data with it, which is why the same headline price buys noticeably less usable data elsewhere.
How is this different from Airalo or Holafly?
Three things, and we publish the one where we lose. Our data does not expire and theirs does. Our coverage figures carry the sample count and the tenth percentile rather than a marketing claim. And Airalo's global plan reaches more destinations than our 145, which we say on our own comparison pages rather than hoping you do not check.
