Worth knowing about Tirana
- Tirana's is the only airport in Albania with scheduled commercial passenger flights; Kukës and Vlora International Airports were inactive as of April 2026.
- The airport bus leaves every full hour, 24 hours a day in both directions, takes 30 to 40 minutes and terminates behind the Palace of Opera and Ballet in central Tirana.
- The airport's transport page lists only taxis, buses, car rental, a shuttle service and parking there is no rail or metro link between the airport and the city.
- The airport advertises free wifi throughout the terminal but does not publish an access method, and its services list mentions no SIM card seller.
