- Andorra has no airport for fixed-wing aircraft and no railways at all inside its borders, so every arrival is by road.
- The nearest airports with international flights are Barcelona, 215 km away, and Toulouse, 165 km away; hourly buses from both take roughly 3 hours.
- Andorra La Seu d'Urgell Airport is in Spain, is owned by Aeroports de Catalunya, and its only scheduled service is Iberia to Madrid and Palma de Mallorca any international connection means transiting one of those two.
- The road in from France runs through the tolled 2.05 km Envalira Tunnel between Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig, opened in 2002, which bypasses the Envalira Pass.
- The closest railway stations are both in France: L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre, which has a bus connection to Andorra la Vella, and Latour-de-Carol, which runs within 2 km of the Andorran border.
