Worth knowing about The Valley
- Anguilla's taxis are not metered. Fares are fixed and drivers work from a published rate guide covering journeys across the island.
- Renting a car means buying a temporary Anguillian driving licence from the rental company: US$25 for one valid three months, or US$15 for a three day version.
- Arrive by sea and you clear Customs and Immigration at the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, not at the airport. The Marigot public ferry is US$30 for anyone aged 12 or over, plus departure tax.
- The terminal is small and has no jetways, and the airport was renamed from Anguilla Wallblake Airport on 4 July 2010.
