Underground and on the metro
Helsinki Metro runs 2 lines. It opened in 1982. The operator does not publish whether the tunnels carry a mobile signal, so we do not claim either way.
Worth knowing about Helsinki
- Helsinki Airport's railway station is a tunnel station 45 metres below ground, and it opened on 10 July 2015.
