Worth knowing about Nuuk
- The last bus out of Nuuk Airport leaves at 17.11. Greenland Airports gives route 3 as the airport service and that time as its final departure, so an evening arrival is a taxi.
- No road leaves Nuuk. Nothing connects the town to the rest of Greenland by land, so onward travel is a flight or the Arctic Umiaq Line coastal ferry, which calls twice a week.
- The rebuilt runway opened on 28 November 2024 and the new terminal in summer 2024, which brought security screening to Nuuk for the first time. Guidance written before that describes a different airport.
