Worth knowing about Saint Peter Port
- Guernsey buses take no cash at all. The airport says only contactless payment or a Concession or Student card is accepted, so arriving with coins and no card leaves you at the stop.
- Routes 71, 93, 94 and 95 run from the airport to the St Peter Port bus terminus. Routes 91 and 92 also call there but circle the island clockwise and anticlockwise, so boarding the wrong one of the pair is the long way round.
- The terminal is not open around the clock. Guernsey Airport gives its normal hours as 0530 to 2100 seven days a week, and the information desk on the arrivals concourse as 0900 to 1800.
- The airport customer services desk sells the island's bus passes, including the Puffin Pass pay as you go card, which is the practical fix for arriving without a contactless card.
