Worth knowing about Douglas
- The free wifi at Isle of Man Airport is in the pre-boarding lounge, past security. Arriving passengers never walk through it, so plan on landing without a connection.
- Ronaldsway Halt is a five minute walk from the terminal and puts you on the Isle of Man Steam Railway to Douglas. It is a heritage line running to published season dates, not a year round commuter service.
- Airport buses run every 20 minutes during the day and early evening, and every 30 minutes outside those hours.
- Fares from the airport taxi rank are metered. The airport publishes a list of local operators who quote a fixed fare instead, which is the cheaper option if you book ahead.
