Underground and on the metro
Naples Metro runs 3 lines. It opened in 1993. The operator does not publish whether the tunnels carry a mobile signal, so we do not claim either way.
Worth knowing about Naples
- Naples Capodichino is only about 6 km from the city centre, but it still has no metro station: the Capodichino station on Line 1 is under construction and expected to be finished by 2027, so the airport link is the Alibus coach.
- The Naples metro is run by two different operators ANM on lines 1 and 6, EAV on line 11 so a single journey can cross operators.
