Worth knowing about Kingstown
- Argyle International opened on 14 February 2017 and E.T. Joshua Airport at Arnos Vale, much closer to Kingstown, was decommissioned the same day. Directions and bookings that still send you to Arnos Vale are out of date.
- Argyle is the only airport in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with international scheduled flights, and it is also where the domestic hops to Bequia, Canouan, Mustique and Union Island leave from.
- The airport is on the southeast coast, roughly 8.3 km from Kingstown and on the opposite side of the island from the capital's harbour, so arrival means crossing Saint Vincent by road.
- There are no railways in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Kingstown is the country's main port and its sea point of entry.
