- Ljubljana airport has no railway connection and a rail link is unlikely to be built soon, so every arrival is by bus, shuttle or taxi over 24 km.
- Buses from the airport also run cross-border to Klagenfurt and its airport in Austria, so travellers can leave the Slovenian network directly from the terminal.
- Shuttle and shared-transfer services at the airport are not run by the airport authority, so they are booked separately from the terminal's own services.
- Ljubljana has a city centre wide free wireless network, WiFree Ljubljana, launched in 2013.
- Holders of the Ljubljana Card get unlimited 24 hour access on WiFree Ljubljana free of charge, unlike ordinary users.
