- In 2025 Flow was authorised to build three new sites, at Holiday Inn Express/Diamond, Calliaqua and New Montrose, while no new site was authorised in the Grenadines for either operator. The regulator says coverage gaps remain in several areas.
- The regulator puts mobile phone penetration at 94 percent, 82 percent of it smartphones. Ninety percent of mobile customers are prepaid and only 66 percent of those keep a regular data plan, so about a third of the population has no data access on a given day.
- Two companies hold submarine cable licences: Southern Caribbean Fiber, effective 29 December 2006, and Digicel Grenada Cable Company, effective 31 May 2019. Starlink SVG Ltd was licensed as an internet service provider from 1 April 2025.
- The CARCIP subsea fibre connects the cable landing stations at Arnos Vale on St. Vincent and Point Salines on Grenada. The regulator plans to use it to link the Arnos Vale internet exchange point to cache servers at Grenada's exchange for faster service.
- Hurricane Beryl made landfall on 1 July 2024. On Canouan it completely destroyed electricity and telecommunications, which were still unavailable on 9 July, and Union Island still had no power and only limited telecommunications that day.
- After Beryl, responders installed a satellite based Starlink connection in Kingstown to improve internet connectivity for the humanitarian response.
- Maritime distress radio coverage for the southern Grenadines, installed at Jerome on Union Island in November 2023 because the single Mount St. Andrew site reached only the mainland and northern Grenadines, was badly damaged by Hurricane Beryl in July 2024.
