- Der Airtrain kostet für Erwachsene $23.30 einfach, während ein Taxi in die Stadt mit $67-$82 angegeben wird, der Zug ist also die mit Abstand günstigere Flughafenanbindung, auch wenn er für eine 20 Minuten kurze Bahnfahrt teuer ist.
- Die Flughafenbahnstrecke gehört privat Airtrain Citylink und wird nicht wie die gewöhnlichen Translink Verbindungen staatlich bezuschusst, deshalb liegen ihre Fahrpreise deutlich über den normalen Preisen des Nahverkehrs in Brisbane.
