- Die TTC gibt an, dass 5G Mobilfunk in ausgewählten Bereichen des U-Bahn Netzes verfügbar ist, nicht im ganzen Netz, rechne also damit, dass die Verbindung unterirdisch zwischen manchen Stationen abbricht.
- Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Fahrten zum Flughafen: Der UP Express fährt in 28 Minuten von Pearson zur Union Station mit nur drei Zwischenhalten (Weston, Mount Dennis, Bloor), während die TTC von der Innenstadt zum Pearson etwa 45 Minuten braucht, zum einfachen normalen TTC Fahrpreis.
- Billy Bishop liegt auf einer Insel: Die einzigen Wege dorthin sind eine 90-Sekunden Fähre über den 121 Meter breiten Western Gap (kostenlos für Fußgänger, $15 hin und zurück für ein Fahrzeug, alle 15 Minuten von 05:15 bis 00:07) oder ein Fußgängertunnel.
- Der Fußgängertunnel von Billy Bishop ist 853 Fuß lang und verläuft 100 Fuß unter dem Western Channel des Lake Ontario; sechs Aufzüge und vier Rollsteige bringen dich in unter sechs Minuten vom Pavillon auf dem Festland zum Check-in. Auf diesem Abschnitt ist mit keinem Empfang zu rechnen, außer du bist schon verbunden.
- Billy Bishop ist täglich von 05:00 bis 23:00 in Betrieb, eine Ankunft am späten Abend in Toronto erfolgt also am Pearson und nicht in der Innenstadt.
- The quickest TTC bus to Pearson is the 900 Airport Express from Kipling station at the west end of Line 2. It makes only a few stops, reaches the terminals in about 20 to 25 minutes, and runs from roughly 5:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday to Saturday.
- Pearson has overnight buses too. The 300A Bloor-Danforth runs from about 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. and takes around an hour from Yonge and Bloor, and the 334A Eglinton links Kennedy station with the airport in about 75 minutes.
- TTC buses stop at Terminal 1 ground level and Terminal 3 arrivals level. Both stops are inside the Toronto fare zone, so one TTC fare covers the ride, but Mississauga Transit fares are not accepted there.
- UP Express trains leave Pearson from 5:27 a.m. on weekdays and 6:24 a.m. at weekends, with the last train at 12:54 a.m. The station is in Terminal 1, next to the Terminal Link train to Terminal 3.
- You can ride UP Express by tapping a contactless credit or debit card, a phone or watch wallet, or a PRESTO card. Tap off at the end too, or you are charged the maximum fare from the station where you started.
- Signal in the subway tunnels is being added section by section. Every station and the downtown tunnels had coverage by late 2023, and the TTC's December 2025 projection was 88 per cent of tunnels by the end of 2026 and the whole system by mid-2027.
- Rogers owns the subway's cellular network, and after a 2023 deal Bell and Telus customers use it as well. Line 4 Sheppard is the stretch where tunnel work had not yet started at the end of 2025.
- Line 5 Eglinton opened to riders on 8 February 2026, and the TTC now also lists Line 6 Finch West as open, so the rail map runs to Lines 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6.
- Toronto hotels and short-term rentals add a 6 per cent Municipal Accommodation Tax. The rate dropped back to 6 per cent for stays starting 1 August 2026, when a temporary 8.5 per cent rate ended.
- To reach Billy Bishop by TTC, take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar west from Union Station, or the 511 Bathurst streetcar south from Bathurst station, then walk south on Bathurst Street to the ferry terminal building.
