- Der Flughafen liegt innerhalb der Stadt: Er befindet sich genau östlich des Busbahnhofs Terminal Terrestre an der Avenida Espana, fünf Gehminuten entfernt, und der spanische Wikipedia Artikel merkt an, dass die Stadt ihn auf der Nordseite inzwischen vollständig umschließt.
- Trotz des 'International' im Namen ist jede aufgeführte Linienstrecke ab Mariscal Lamar eine Inlandsstrecke: Quito, Guayaquil, Baltra (Galapagos) und Macas.
- Cuenca hat keine U-Bahn; der Schienenverkehr besteht aus der einen ebenerdigen Linie der Cuenca Tramway, etwa 10.5-10.7 km lang mit 27 Stationen, vom Industrial Park im Norden durch das historische Zentrum nach Banos im Süden, in Betrieb seit dem 25. Mai 2020.
