- L'Airtrain costa $23.30 a tratta per un adulto, mentre per un taxi in città vengono indicati $67-$82: il treno è di gran lunga il collegamento aeroportuale più economico, per quanto caro per un viaggio in treno di 20 minuti.
- La linea ferroviaria dell'aeroporto è di proprietà privata di Airtrain Citylink e non è sovvenzionata dallo Stato come i normali servizi Translink, per questo le sue tariffe sono ben più alte di quelle del trasporto pubblico di Brisbane.
- Il primo Airtrain parte alle 5:04 del mattino nei giorni feriali e alle 6:04 nei fine settimana, e l'ultimo alle 10:04 di sera, quindi chi arriva in tarda serata o di notte deve ripiegare su un transfer su strada.

- The airport Airtrain stations have Translink Smart Ticketing gates, so you can tap a bank card, phone or watch. Each traveller needs a separate payment method, and children or concession travellers must use a go card or paper ticket.
