Da sapere su Innsbruck
- Innsbruck has no metro or underground railway; the city runs a metre-gauge tram network of four city lines plus two regional lines, and bus routes. Trolleybuses were withdrawn in 2007.
- The single airport bus is IVB line F, which runs from the airport through the city to Rum Bahnhof.
- The terminal has no jet bridges; passengers board and disembark using mobile stairs on the apron.
- Approaches are constrained by the surrounding Alpine terrain and the airport is a Category C aerodrome, so pilots must complete special training before operating there.
- Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof is the main rail station for Tyrol and links the city to Germany, eastern and western Austria and Italy over the Brenner Pass.
