- Limassol hat keinen eigenen Flughafen: Larnaca liegt etwa 60 km nordöstlich und Paphos etwa 50 km nordwestlich, beide ungefähr eine Überlandbusfahrt entfernt.
- Beide Flughäfen sind über den Limassol Airport Express mit der Stadt verbunden, der ab der Station Chavouzas fährt und nicht von der Uferpromenade oder der Altstadt.
- Limassol wickelt fast den gesamten Passagierschiffsverkehr Zyperns ab, Kreuzfahrtgäste kommen also hier an und nicht an einem Flughafen.
- Zypern hat seit der letzten Zugfahrt am 31. Dezember 1951 keine Personenbahn mehr, der Transfer vom Flughafen läuft also über die Straße, egal welchen Flughafen du nutzt.
