- Limassol non ha un aeroporto proprio: Larnaca si trova circa 60 km a nordest e Paphos circa 50 km a nordovest, entrambi a circa un viaggio in pullman di distanza.
- Entrambi gli aeroporti sono collegati alla città dal Limassol Airport Express, che parte dalla stazione Chavouzas e non dal lungomare o dalla città vecchia.
- Limassol gestisce quasi tutto il traffico passeggeri via mare di Cipro, quindi chi arriva in crociera sbarca qui e non in un aeroporto.
- Cipro non ha più una ferrovia passeggeri da quando l'ultimo treno ha circolato il 31 dicembre 1951, quindi il trasferimento dall'aeroporto avviene su strada, qualunque aeroporto tu usi.
