- Minsk National Airport's free Wi-Fi can only be unlocked with a PIN code sent by SMS, so an arriving traveller with no working mobile service cannot get online at the airport.

- The airport is 42 km east of Minsk and the public bus to the central bus station takes about an hour.
- The rail link to the airport ran only from November 2014 to April 2017 and was permanently suspended, so bus, taxi or car are the only surface options today.
