- Punta Cana International 공항은 민간 소유이고 Corporación Aeroportuaria del Este (Grupo Puntacana)가 운영합니다. 이 회사가 1984년에 지었고, 서반구 최초의 민간 소유 국제공항입니다.
- 터미널은 야자 잎으로 덮은 지붕을 얹은 개방형이어서, 도착과 출발이 밀폐된 냉방 건물이 아니라 바깥 습기 속에서 이루어집니다.

- Charging points are in the check-in areas and the A1 and A2 waiting areas of Terminal A, and in check-in, the food courts and boarding areas B1 and B2 of Terminal B.
- Tour operator desks for pre-booked transfers sit at the end of customs in both terminals, and guests of the Four Points by Sheraton at Puntacana Village get a free shuttle.
