- Hoi An에는 자체 공항이 없습니다. 가장 가까운 곳은 북쪽으로 28 km 떨어진 Da Nang International Airport (DAD)이고 차로 약 40분 걸립니다. 남쪽으로 73 km 떨어진 Chu Lai International Airport도 대안입니다.
- 베트남 관광청은 Hoi An Ancient Town을 Da Nang 공항에서 29킬로미터, Hue를 98킬로미터로 재고, 베트남의 모든 국제공항에 무료 WiFi가 있다고 밝힙니다.
- Hoi An에서 북쪽 Hue로 갈 때 국도 1호선은 Da Nang과 Hue 사이 6,280 m Hai Van Tunnel을 지납니다. 2005년 6월 5일 개통했고 옛 Hai Van Pass 도로보다 30분에서 1시간을 줄여 줍니다.

- Expect rainy days and several storms from October to January, according to the tourism board, which names March to May as the best months. The riverside area around Nguyen Thai Hoc street often floods in the rainy season, and residents take boats to get about.
- Da Nang airport lists Hai Van Bus as its suburban service to Hoi An, running daily from 07:30 to 16:00 at 120,000 dong a trip. Stops are at columns 7 and 8 of the international terminal and column 2 of the domestic one.
- Metered taxis wait outside both arrivals halls at Da Nang airport around the clock. The airport advises carrying cash, since only a few companies such as Tien Sa and VinaSun take Visa or Mastercard, and an access fee of 10,000 to 30,000 dong may be added.
- The Danabus city routes 06 and 12 that serve Da Nang airport stay inside Da Nang and stop at 19:00, so they are no help for reaching Hoi An after a late landing.
