- The airport lists no scheduled public bus at all: ground transport is taxis "available from the arrival greeting area on a dispatch basis", buses only "upon prior arrangement with the specific transportation company", pre-booked SUVs, or rental cars a short walk across the street.
- The airport authority places wireless internet in the Departure Hall on its amenities page, and nowhere does it state that the service is free or unlimited - do not assume you can get online in the arrivals area before clearing the terminal.
- Owen Roberts is the Cayman Islands' main gateway; the only other scheduled airport is Charles Kirkconnell International on Cayman Brac, with Edward Bodden Airfield on Little Cayman - the islands are linked by air and sea, not by road.
