- ANTEL, Uruguay's state telecom, staffs a counter in the Carrasco Airport Arrivals Hall from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 19:00 - outside those hours there is no telecom desk listed in the terminal.
- Uruguay's mobile market is served by three operators - ANTEL, Movistar and Claro - according to the regulator URSEC.
- Carrasco Airport runs a free Wi-Fi portal covering the entire airport, so an arriving traveller can get online before leaving the terminal.
- Montevideo's city government lists buses, car rental, taxis and remises as the ways to reach the city centre from Carrasco, and puts the terminal 23 km from the centre by road.
- Montevideo has no metro or underground rail, so there is no tunnel section where a mobile signal would drop between the airport and the city.
