What this category covers

The three things that go wrong before your first gigabyte

What to have ready before you ask us anything here
A first question answered on the first reply needs four things. Support can find the rest, but not these, and asking for them afterwards is what turns a two minute conversation into a two hour one.
- Your exact phone model, from Settings, General, About, not the name on the box
- The iOS or Android version number, because one tap install needs iOS 17.4
- Whether the phone has ever been on a contract that could have locked it
- The country you are flying to, and the date you land
