새 휴대폰으로 Orbislo를 어떻게 옮기나요?

Why it is two taps and not a support ticket
Because the balance is on the account and the profile is disposable. Moving to a new phone means issuing a new profile to the new handset and retiring the old one, and nothing about your wallet, your history or your Orbislo Number is attached to either. Sellers who issue one eSIM per country cannot do this, which is why their version of this article involves a form.
What moves, and what you have to do yourself
Everything with value moves. One thing does not, and it is the thing people forget.
- Moves: the wallet balance, purchase history, Miles, the Orbislo Number and any pool you are in
- Moves: your Miles tier, so the rate you earn at does not reset
- Does not move: the profile on the old phone. Delete it once the new one is live
- Does not move: your home operator's SIM, which is a separate conversation with them
When the phone is lost or stolen
Suspend it from the web on any other device, including somebody else's. Suspension stops the line immediately and does not touch the balance, because the balance was never on the handset. When the replacement arrives, install and the account is exactly where you left it. Do this before you report the phone if you can: it is faster than any operator's process.
Where each thing lives
| Thing | Lives on | Survives a new phone |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet balance | Your account | Yes |
| Miles and tier | Your account | Yes |
| Orbislo Number | Your account | Yes |
| The eSIM profile | The handset | No. A new one is issued and the old one is retired |
| Your home operator SIM | That operator | Their process, not ours |
Only one row does not survive, and it is the row with no value in it.
What we do automatically and what needs you
We move the account, retire the old profile server side and keep your Number reachable through the change. What needs you is deleting the dead profile from the old handset if you still have it, and turning on Data Roaming for the new line. Both take under a minute and neither can be done from our end.
The numbers, and where they came from
Two taps to move. The Orbislo Number is $2.99 a month on its own and is included with Orbislo One at $19.99. Installing on the new phone pays 300 Miles once, and the tier you already hold carries over rather than resetting, which matters because the ladder runs from 5% to 8% back on what you spend.
Before you hand the old phone on
Delete the retired Orbislo profile from the old handset before it leaves your hands. It carries no balance and no payment method, so nothing can be spent with it, but leaving it there occupies an eSIM slot for whoever gets the phone next and confuses the settings screen. If you are selling or trading in, a full factory reset removes it along with everything else. If the phone is going to a family member who will also use Orbislo, reset it anyway and let them install their own, because two accounts on one profile is not a thing that exists.
