- لا يمكنك شراء شريحة محلية داخل المبنى: إذ تقول أسئلة المطار الشائعة إنه لا يبيعها ويشير إلى متاجر في Blue Mall PUNTACANA على بعد نحو 5 دقائق، فاحضر بـ eSIM مثبتة مسبقا وإلا هبطت بلا اتصال.
- مطار Punta Cana International مملوك ومشغل من القطاع الخاص عبر Corporación Aeroportuaria del Este (Grupo Puntacana) التي بنته في 1984، وهو أول مطار دولي مملوك للقطاع الخاص في نصف الكرة الغربي.
