ما يستحق معرفته عن Hamburg

• تقول Hochbahn إنه لا تزال لا توجد شبكة LTE كافية في أنفاق U-Bahn التابعة لها، ولذلك لا تحمل قطاراتها واي فاي على متنها رغم ربط المحطات بالألياف.
• ينقسم الخط S1 في Ohlsdorf. ولا تكمل إلى المطار سوى العربات الثلاث الأمامية، أما القسم الخلفي فيتجه إلى Poppenbuttel.
• محطة S-Bahn في المطار تحت الأرض، ويوصل إليها مباشرة من مبنيي الركاب 1 و2 بالمصعد أو السلم المتحرك، ولم تفتتح إلا في 11 ديسمبر 2008.
• افتتح Hamburg Airport في يناير 1911 وهو أقدم مطار دولي في العالم لا يزال عاملا. وأعيدت تسميته باسم Helmut Schmidt في نوفمبر 2016.
• يسير الخط S1 كل 10 دقائق بين نحو 6am و11pm ويستغرق 25 دقيقة في كل اتجاه إلى Hauptbahnhof.

• HADAG ferry line 62 belongs to the hvv network and leaves Landungsbruecken pier 3 for Finkenwerder about every 15 minutes between 06:45 and 22:15 on weekdays, calling at the Fischmarkt, Dockland and Neumuehlen/Oevelgoenne on the way.
• Buying single and day tickets in the hvv switch app earns a 7 percent discount, which also applies to upgrades. Season tickets and tourist offers get no online discount.
• Airport buses stop in front of Terminal 1 on the arrivals level. Night bus 606 links the airport with the Hauptbahnhof and the Rathausmarkt, and taxis wait outside both terminals, taking cash or cards.
• Hamburg's culture and tourism tax is a fixed amount per guest and night, set by the net room price. For bookings from 2025 it is 1.20 euros up to 50 euros, 2.40 euros up to 100 and 4.80 euros up to 200.
• The tax falls on the hotel, which may pass it on to the guest but does not have to. It covers stays shorter than two months, and business trips have been taxed since 1 January 2023.
