Santo Domingo 值得知道的事
- Las Américas 在 "_VINCI Airports Wi-Fi" 網路上提供免費且無流量限制的 wifi，但必須先在瀏覽器登入頁面輸入電子郵件地址和居住國家，也就是要先完成導引頁面才能上網。
- Claro 和 Altice 都在 Las Américas 第 1 層的公共區域設有有人服務的門市，販售 chip 並開通漫遊，每天營業，連週日上午也有，在加勒比地區的入境大廳並不常見。
- Santo Domingo 有真正的捷運，共 2 條路線、39 座車站、35.5 km，Line 1 於 2009 年一月、Line 2 於 2013 年四月通車，大部分在地下，也有部分高架路段，但兩座機場都沒有連到，因此機場路段要搭計程車或走公路。
- 這座城市由兩座機場服務：東邊約 20 km、位於 Punta Caucedo 的 Las Américas（SDQ），由 AERODOM 依 VINCI Airports 特許經營；以及西北約 10 km 的 La Isabela / El Higüero（JBQ），主要處理國內和加勒比地區的小型區域航班。
- Metro and cable car ticket booths take cash only. Rechargeable plastic cards are sold with at least two trips loaded, and occasional riders can buy single use cards for one trip, a return or 24 hours.
- The metro runs weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and until 10:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The Teleférico keeps the same weekday hours, closes at 9:00 p.m. on weekends and opens at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays.
- The Teleférico de Santo Domingo cable car shares the metro's ticket system, and each cabin carries up to 10 people. A second cable car line serves Los Alcarrizos.
- Bicycles are allowed on the metro only on Saturdays from 10:00 to 22:00 and all day on Sundays and public holidays; on the cable car, Saturdays run from 10:00 to 21:00.
- Every traveller entering or leaving the Dominican Republic must complete the electronic E-Ticket for immigration, customs and public health before check-in. It can be filled in up to 72 hours before the flight.
- The biometric autogates at Las Américas passport control are reserved for Dominican passport holders aged 18 or over, so foreign visitors use the staffed immigration desks.
- The airport advises that anyone entering the Dominican Republic carries a passport with at least six months of validity.
- Las Américas lies on Route 66 at La Caleta. Driving out from the city, the airport exit is on the right immediately after the toll plaza.
