- Iceland has no public railway system, so there is no train from either airport. The 50 km from Keflavik to Reykjavik is covered on Route 41, a dual carriageway.
- Keflavik takes only international flights. Every domestic service uses Reykjavik Airport, which is 2 km from the city centre in the Vatnsmyri area.
- Keflavik's free wifi takes no password, login or registration, which makes it one of the easier arrivals halls to get online in with a dead SIM.
- The Flybus leaves the terminal about 40 minutes after each flight lands and takes 45 minutes to the BSI Bus Terminal.
