- Abidjan 沒有營運中的捷運：唯一的南北向路線自 2017 年開工興建，預計 2028 年通車。
- 規劃中的捷運終點將設在 Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport 內的 Aérocité 站，但在那之前機場只能靠公路抵達。
- 機場位於 Abidjan 東南約 16 km 的 Port-Bouët 區，與市區大部分地方隔著 Ébrié Lagoon。
- 依 2017 年三月 22 日第 2017-193 號法令，Orange Cote d'Ivoire 的每位用戶都必須完成身分登記，且免費。
- Orange Cote d'Ivoire 接受非本國人以生物辨識護照作為身分證明。本國人可使用國民身分證、生物辨識駕照或生物辨識護照。
- Abidjan 捷運 Line 1 將從 Anyama 行駛 37.5 km 到 Port Bouet，設 20 座車站，並以高架橋跨越 Ebrie Lagoon。

- Travellers who are not ECOWAS nationals apply and pay for an e-visa online at least 10 working days ahead. Once approved, the visa itself is collected on arrival at Abidjan airport.
- Photography is prohibited near Abidjan airport, as it is near military sites, government buildings, broadcasting stations and the Presidency.
- Abidjan's metered taxis are the red ones. The shared woro woro taxis run fixed routes and pick up several passengers along the way.
- App-based cars such as Yango, Uber and Heetch must be booked through the app and cannot pick up passengers who flag them in the street. Riders pay in cash or by mobile money.
- App drivers work under decree 2021-860 of 15 December 2021 on private passenger transport. Platforms need a licence from the transport ministry, and drivers must hold a professional driving certificate and a clean record.
- British travel advice for Abidjan recommends ride-hailing apps or pre-arranged private taxis over street taxis, and avoiding public transport after dark.
- SOTRA publishes its own SOTRA Mobile app with line information for Abidjan. A September 2025 update activated a virtual bus card on the phone and added payment through Wave.
