- Monaco has no airport of its own; the arrival airport is Nice Cote d'Azur in France, which means crossing an international border on the ground.
- The entire railway line through Monaco runs underground, and Monaco-Monte-Carlo station sits inside a 466-metre tunnel opened in 1999.
- Monaco Heliport (MCM/LNMC) in Fontvieille runs scheduled helicopter shuttles to Nice airport, the fastest link into the principality.
- Since 5 March 2024 customers of the French mobile operators use one unified network in Monaco. The phone roams onto Monaco Telecom and shows that name instead of the French operator.
- The Monaco government tells visiting French subscribers to switch on mobile data and data roaming, which is off by default, otherwise apps, MMS and mobile internet will not work.
- Calls from Monaco to mainland France need the international prefix +33, and the government advises saving French numbers in that form before arriving.
- Each French operator sets its own Monaco rates. Many include the Principality in their Europe zone at no extra charge, but the government tells subscribers to check with their operator.
- Monaco Telecom is the Principality's national telecoms operator, Monaco has its own international dialling code +377, and 5G is available throughout the whole of Monaco.
- Monaco Telecom says its 5G coverage will be generalised inside buildings, tunnels, underground passages and car parks, under a concession the Princely Government has prolonged by twenty years.
- Trains east from Nice airport towards Monaco and Menton run every 15 minutes on weekdays from 05.50 to 22.00, then every 30 minutes until 23.30.
- Nice Saint-Augustin station is less than 500 metres from Terminal 1 by a dedicated pedestrian walkway, about 7 minutes on foot from exit A0.
- Monaco-Monte-Carlo station is underground with four exits, Monte-Carlo, Parvis Sainte-Devote, La Condamine and Fontvieille Le Rocher, linked by escalators, stairs and underground passages. Around sixty trains a day link Nice and Monaco in 23 minutes.
- Monacair's regular line flies Nice airport to Monaco heliport in about 7 minutes, every 30 minutes, with the first departure at 08.15 from Nice and 08.00 from Monaco.
- On a CAM bus in Monaco you pay by holding a bank card to the validator, up to six people on one card. American Express and Nickel cards are not accepted.
- CAM open payment caps a day of bus travel at 5.50 euros, the price of the 24 hour pass, and adjusts the amount actually debited after midnight.
- The Monapass app carries CAM bus passes, MonaBike and outdoor parking in one place, and its FAQ documents an offline mode.
- Zou! Express line 80 runs 47 trips a day from Nice airport terminals 1 and 2. A single to Monaco is 21.40 euros, or 21.80 bought on board, and a contactless bank card works at the onboard validator.
