Andorra la Vellaで知っておきたいこと
- Andorra には固定翼機用の空港がなく、国内に鉄道も一切ないため、到着手段はすべて陸路です。
- 国際線が就航する最寄りの空港は 215 km 離れた Barcelona と 165 km 離れた Toulouse です。どちらからも毎時バスが出ており、所要時間は約 3 時間です。
- Andorra La Seu d'Urgell Airport は Spain にあり、Aeroports de Catalunya が所有しています。定期便は Iberia の Madrid 行きと Palma de Mallorca 行きのみで、国際線に接続するにはこの 2 つのいずれかを経由することになります。
- France からの道路は、Pas de la Casa と Grau Roig の間にある有料の 2.05 km の Envalira Tunnel を通ります。このトンネルは 2002 年に開通し、Envalira Pass を迂回します。
- 最寄りの鉄道駅はいずれも France にあります。Andorra la Vella へのバス接続がある L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre と、Andorra 国境から 2 km 以内を通る Latour-de-Carol です。
- Andorra is outside the EU and the EEA. The EU's roam like at home rules reach only the EEA, Moldova and Ukraine, so a Spanish or French plan does not automatically keep domestic prices once you cross the border.
- Andorra la Vella's Estacio Nacional is the hub of the government's national bus lines. In the September 2026 timetable, line L1 to Sant Julia de Loria leaves every 10 minutes at weekday peaks and every 30 minutes at weekends.
- National line L4 climbs from Estacio Nacional through Encamp and Soldeu and through the Envalira tunnel to Pas de la Casa on the French border, every 30 minutes daily in the September 2026 timetable.
- Taxis work 24 hours a day, according to the parish council, which lists the Andorran taxi association on 863 000 and a separate association for interurban taxis.
- The government's free Mobilitat app shows live road conditions and traffic cameras across Andorra, with push alerts for accidents, closures and when snow chains or other special equipment become compulsory.
- Mobilitat also broadcasts traffic disruption on WhatsApp and Telegram channels, and answers road queries on 1802. Its tunnel control centre watches the Pont Pla, Sant Antoni, Radio Andorra, La Tapia and Dos Valires tunnels.
- For the La Massana valley, national line L5 runs from Estacio Nacional up to the Arinsal car park, every 30 minutes for most of the day, with the last weekday bus leaving Andorra la Vella at 22:20 in the September 2026 timetable.
- Andorra Telecom finished adding the 3.5 GHz 5G band in 2025, covering 91 percent of the population from 44 sites including Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu and Arinsal. It says the band relieves crowded spots such as ski resort car parks.
- The capital's own Bus Comunal runs three lines, LM to La Margineda, LS to Serradells and the hospital, and LV through Ciutat de Valls. A single ticket costs 0.10 euros, and all vehicles are adapted for wheelchair users.
