Montrealで知っておきたいこと
- The 747 airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and its $11.25 fare doubles as a 24-hour pass for the bus, metro, exo trains and the REM in zone A.
- The REM light-rail branch to the airport is not yet carrying passengers: REM reported starting dynamic testing on the YUL-Aeroport-Montreal-Trudeau branch in August 2026, so the 747 bus remains the only public-transport link from the terminal.
- Mobile coverage runs the entire metro, not just the platforms: 4G LTE deployment was completed across all 68 stations and 71 km of tunnels, so a data connection holds while moving between stations.
- Airport Wi-Fi is session-capped: a logon gives up to 60 minutes of free browsing and requires you to authenticate with an email address, after which you reconnect for a fresh session.
- SIM kiosks at YUL are landside, on the public arrivals level between doors 27 and 28 (ChatR and Rogers/Fido) - not reachable once you have gone back through security.
