• Which terminal you land at depends entirely on your airline: Terminal 4 is exclusive to Kuwait Airways and Terminal 5 to Jazeera Airways, both opened in 2018, while other carriers use Terminal 1.
• A new Foster + Partners-designed Terminal 2 is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, with new access routes from the Seventh Ring Road.
• The airport is about 15.5 km south of the city centre, in Farwaniya Governorate rather than Kuwait City itself.
• CITRA's national mobile benchmark, measured from 3 July to 2 October 2025, scored all three Kuwaiti operators above 800 points out of 1000 on the Network Performance Score, with the best at 832.
• In that CITRA campaign 5G NR coverage rated good or better ranged from 93.87 to 95.67 percent nationally across the three operators, and LTE coverage from 96.51 to 99.21 percent.
• The 2025 CITRA campaign collected 266,088 samples over 14,852 km of driving, covering 125 urban areas, 80 indoor locations, 36 areas in Al Asimah governorate and 25 in Farwaniya, the governorate holding the airport.

• Kuwait Public Transport Company runs airport bus lines 13, 99 and 501 with 21 vehicles, from 04:30 to 23:45. Fares are 250 fils on lines 13 and 501, and 250 to 300 fils on line 99.
• Line 13 runs airport to Khaitan, Airport Road and Shuwaikh residential. Line 99 runs to Abbasid, Jleeb Al Shuyoukh and Hasawi. Line 501 runs to Farwaniya, Al Omariya and Al Rabiya.
• Airport taxis at Kuwait International use a zone based fare system, stated by the airport as ranging from 4 KD to 20 KD depending on the destination area.
• The airport lists internet only inside its lounges. The Pearl Lounge has high speed wireless internet and a charge bar, and the Dasman Lounge for first and business class has full internet access plus a telecommunications company phone outlet.
• Zain Kuwait prices a new prepaid voice line at KD 5 and runs a customer service bot over WhatsApp on +965 91107107.
• CITRA consumer rules give users the right to be told prices before committing, at least 7 days notice of any price increase, and the right to end a contract without penalty before the increase takes effect.
