• Em 6 de maio de 2024 O2 Telefonica, Telekom e Vodafone concluíram um projeto de cinco anos que levou 4G a todas as nove linhas do U-Bahn e a 175 estações, com mais de 1,000 km de fibra instalados.
• O mesmo projeto instalou 360 antenas de túnel, 350 repetidores e 30 estações rádio base, trabalhando em janelas de três horas durante a noite. O 5G começa na Alexanderplatz em 3.6 GHz.
• A estação do BER fica em um túnel de 3.1 km sob o Terminal 1, tem três plataformas em ilha e seis vias, e funciona 24 horas por dia.
• O BER abriu ao tráfego comercial em 31 de outubro de 2020, nove anos depois da abertura prevista para outubro de 2011 e 29 anos depois do início do planejamento.

• One ticket covers the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, buses and even ferries within its zones. Paper tickets must be stamped at the yellow or red validators before travel, and app tickets must be activated before the journey begins.
• The U-Bahn runs all night at weekends. On weeknights night buses marked with an N replace the trains once the U-Bahn closes.
• BVG's Jelbi app puts public transport tickets and sharing services such as bikes, scooters, mopeds and cars under one BVG account. Sharing rides need a one off check of documents such as a driving licence.
• Hotels add Berlin's overnight tax to the bill. From 1 January 2025 the rate rose to 7.5 percent and the old exemption for stays over 21 days ended, and business stays have been taxed since 1 April 2024.
