Belize City's international airport is not in the city: it sits in Ladyville, roughly 10 miles from downtown.
The airport's published operating hours are 06:00 to 18:00 daily, with service outside those hours only on request.
The airport states in its own FAQ that it offers free wireless internet to passengers, and taxicabs wait outside the terminal only during normal operating hours.
A second, domestic-only airport - Sir Barry Bowen Municipal (TZA) - sits about a mile from the city centre and handles the short hops to the cayes, so a domestic flight may leave from a different airport than the one you landed at.
Belize City has no metro and no operating railway; proposed rail lines to Belmopan and Orange Walk Town are still only at feasibility-study stage.
