在荷蘭，94 Mbps 實際代表什麼

在荷蘭使用 Orbislo 的一般下載速度：94 Mbps。這明顯高於歐洲的中位數 71 Mbps。

第十百分位是 28 Mbps。中位數和下限之間有這樣的落差很常見，煩躁也就從這裡來：多數時候很快，在最擁擠的那幾個百分比的時刻明顯變慢，通常發生在尖峰時段的車站和機場。

這個速度下，手機上做的任何事都不會被連線拖住。視訊通話很順，筆電開熱點可以撐一整個工作天，大批照片備份也不必特地安排時間。

你會連上哪些電信網路

在荷蘭，Orbislo 透過 KPN 和 Vodafone 傳送你的流量。你的手機不會被綁在其中一家。當你所在的網路壅塞或斷線時，設定檔會把你換到另一家，過程沒有任何提示，你唯一會察覺到的就是連線一直沒斷。

這件事比檯面上的速度更重要。現在市面上的旅行 eSIM 幾乎都只是把每個國家的單一上游合約轉賣出去，所以那個網路狀況不好的那一小時，你就跟著不好，唯一的辦法是再向別家買第二張 eSIM。背後有多個網路的設定檔，可以替你做一個你永遠不會看到的決定。

荷蘭的 5G：有，非獨立組網。值得知道的是，旅行設定檔能用 5G 是常態而非特例，真正決定旅程體感的是上面那個第十百分位，不是狀態列上的世代標示。

只接一家電信商的業者，做不到這個切換。

在荷蘭的上網費用

荷蘭的 500 MB 方案從 $0.32 起，換算下來每 GB 是 $0.00。比較不同業者時該看的就是這個數字，因為掛在不同流量上的標價其實什麼都說明不了。

多數業者不太希望你做的比較，是實際用掉的每 GB 成本。針對旅行數據的獨立調查指出，購買的流量中有 20% 到 35% 因為過期而消失，因為第三十天到期的方案會直接刪掉你沒用完的部分。Orbislo 的流量沒有到期日，你付過錢的那一 GB，下一趟旅行還在。同樣的標價，等於多出 25% 到 40% 真正能用的流量；在荷蘭，這代表實際成本比較接近每 GB $0.00，而不是 $0.00。

因為不會過期，買荷蘭的流量最省的方式，是買得比你以為需要的少一點，不夠再加值。加值大約十秒就好，也不用安裝任何東西。買太多在別的地方是昂貴的錯誤，在這裡只是沒差。

抵達荷蘭之後

出發前先在家裡的 WLAN 上安裝。設定檔會在你還有可信任的連線時下載完成，接著就靜靜待著，直到你降落在荷蘭並連上 KPN。

落地後只有一件事要檢查：Orbislo 這條門號的數據漫遊必須打開。iOS 和 Android 預設都是關閉的，而這裡的漫遊跟資費無關，因為方案是預付的，根本沒有帳單會被灌爆。把 Orbislo 那條打開、原本那條關著，你原本的號碼就能繼續接電話和銀行驗證碼，而且不會產生費用。

荷蘭各地的涵蓋情形

上面的數字是整個荷蘭的數字，而全國數字會蓋掉真實的差異。我們另外公布Amsterdam、Rotterdam 和 Utrecht的數字，因為首都和海邊小鎮之間的差距，往往比兩個國家之間還大。

離開城市之後，涵蓋情形和世界各地一樣：主要幹道和觀光廊帶訊號良好，進到山區和水上就變薄。沒有任何旅行 eSIM 能改變這件事，因為用的是當地居民同一套實體網路。多網路設定檔能改變的，是你可以使用現場哪一座基地台。

關於荷蘭值得知道的事

來自 roam like at home 區域內另一個國家的用量，在荷蘭以自國價格使用，而主管機關列出適用此規則的國家清單，共有 27 個歐盟國家再加上冰島、列支敦斯登和挪威。
Caribbean Netherlands 是獨立的電信管轄區。Bonaire、Sint Eustatius 和 Saba 依 Wet Telecommunicatievoorzieningen BES 而不是荷蘭電信法運作，監督工作由競爭主管機關和無線電稽查機關分擔。
Calling 112 in the Netherlands needs neither credit nor a SIM card. If your own network is unavailable, the phone connects to any other network in range, Dutch or foreign, because emergency calls take priority under international standards.
When a 112 call comes in through a network other than the caller's own, or from a phone without a SIM, the control room does not see the number and location and has to ask for them, so be ready to say where you are.
Dutch mobile operators must carry 112 calls over every technology they use for ordinary calls, including calls over 4G and Wi-Fi calling, a rule in force since July 2021. It covers operators' own voice services, not calls made through apps such as WhatsApp or FaceTime.
Anonymous prepaid numbers exist in the Netherlands. After pressure from the competition authority, mobile operators give the 112 control room information on which numbers are anonymous prepaid, since staff then have to ask the caller for identity details during the call.
NL-Alert warnings arrive by cell broadcast from the masts of KPN, Odido and VodafoneZiggo, so a phone needs coverage from one of them. It does not need a subscription with that network or even a SIM card, but alerts never arrive over Wi-Fi alone.
The Dutch government sends an NL-Alert test message twice a year, on the first Monday of June and of December, so a loud alarm on your phone on those days is expected.
Since 1 July 2019, anyone riding a vehicle in the Netherlands, cyclists included, may not hold a phone, tablet or media player while moving. A phone in a handlebar holder may be used, and the ban does not apply while stopped.
For police help that is not urgent, the Netherlands uses 0900-8844, and the fire service has its own non-emergency number, 0900-0904. Both are staffed around the clock, and calls to them may carry a charge.
The Dutch suicide prevention line answers on 113 or 0800-0113 for anyone with suicidal thoughts or worried about someone else, and 144 is the number for animals in acute distress or injured animals.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing people and those with a speech impairment can reach a Dutch emergency control room by text through the e-SMS service, but must register once beforehand by texting the word aanmelden to 112.
Anyone can use the 112NL app in an emergency after first dialling 112. Its chat function translates the conversation, which helps callers who speak neither Dutch nor English.
