Miami's Metrorail tracks are mostly elevated rather than in tunnels, so the Orange Line ride from MIA station stays largely in the open air.
MIA's free MIA-WiFi tier is complimentary with advertising; ad-free access costs $4.95 or $7.95.
The MIA Mover is free and runs a roughly two-minute ride from the terminal to the Miami Intermodal Center, where Metrorail, Metrobus and Tri-Rail connect.
Taxi flat fares from MIA were eliminated on 19 July 2022; all trips are metered with a $2.00 airport origination fee and a $15 minimum fare.
Fort Lauderdale (FLL), about 34 km north of Miami, also serves Miami-area arrivals and provides free Wi-Fi in all terminals, concourses and the Rental Car Center.
