Ho Chi Minh City 值得知道的事
- Metro Line 1（Ben Thanh 到 Suoi Tien）於 2024 年十二月 22 日通車，全長 19.7 km、設 14 座車站；前三站 Ben Thanh、Opera House 和 Ba Son 位於市中心各區下方的地下，其餘為高架。
- Line 1 是唯一營運中的路線；另有兩條興建中、十二條規劃中，營運商是 HCM Urban Railways（HURC）。
- Tan Son Nhat 近得不尋常：Vietnam Airlines 表示它距市中心約 6 公里，視交通狀況開車約 15 到 20 分鐘。越南國家觀光局則表示八公里。
- 位於 Dong Nai 省、Ho Chi Minh City 以東約 40 公里的 Long Thanh International Airport 仍在興建中，依越南政府新聞入口網表示，預定在 2026 年第四季開始商業營運。
- Tan Son Nhat 有三座客運航廈：Terminal 1 國內線、Terminal 2 國際線、Terminal 3 國內線。
- Since March 2025 the gates on Metro Line 1 accept a tap from Visa cards issued anywhere, and from phones and wearables. Ticket counters take contactless payment as well, and the HCMC Metro HURC app sells tickets for in-app payment.
- By May 2025, 62 subsidised city bus routes with 891 buses accepted digital payment, so riders could tap a Mastercard, Visa or Napas card or pay with the MoMo e-wallet instead of cash.
- Seventeen feeder routes run by electric buses joined Metro Line 1 in December 2024. The two airport routes, 109 and 152, are among 24 existing bus routes that also stop by Line 1 stations.
- Terminal 3 opened on 17 April 2025 for Vietnam Airlines domestic flights; its services to Con Dao, Ca Mau and Rach Gia stayed at Terminal 1. T3 stands apart from T1 and T2, so follow the airport's traffic signs when changing terminals.
- More than 80 percent of passengers at Ben Thanh station already pay without cash. Every new city bus contract must include contactless readers, and the system follows the EMV open-loop standard, so visitors can use their own bank cards.
- Terminal 3 is built for 20 million passengers a year and has its own multi-storey car park and an elevated road along the terminal front.
