接続するネットワーク

Before a prepaid line with a Luxembourg number goes live, the operator must record the holder's name, habitual residence, date and place of birth, and the type, issuing country and number of an identity document, and keep a copy of that document.
ルクセンブルクで制限されていること
- Mobile signal repeaters: Installing a mobile phone repeater or signal booster without the consent of the operator whose frequencies it repeats breaks the 2005 radio spectrum law. Fines reach 5,000 euros for an individual and 25,000 euros for a company, and can double for a repeat offence.
- Emergency calls over Wi-Fi: Emergency calls cannot be made over Wi-Fi calling in Luxembourg, so a phone needs a mobile network signal to reach 112 or 113, even when Wi-Fi calling is switched on.
ルクセンブルクで知っておきたいこと

- DECT 方式のコードレス電話は、ヨーロッパがこの方式に割り当てている 1880 から 1900 MHz の帯域で、免許なしに使えます。ただし、国内の無線インターフェース LUX/RI CT_DECT 01 および LUX/RI CT_DECT 02 に適合していることが条件です。
- 訪れるアマチュア無線家は、CEPT の勧告に基づいて発給された外国の免許で、短期の滞在中に移動局や携帯局を運用できます。その際は自分のコールサインの前に LX/ を、初級の資格であれば LX6/ を付けて名乗る必要があります。
- Luxembourg operators have required identification before activating a prepaid SIM since early 2016. A law of 7 June 2017 then forced the deactivation of older anonymous prepaid cards whose holders had not identified themselves by 12 July 2017.
- The identity rule for prepaid lines applies only to services that use Luxembourg numbers. The operator keeps the identity data for as long as the line is active and for three years after the number is deactivated, then must erase it.
- A Tango prepaid card stays blocked until it is identified. A visitor can do this online by uploading photos of a passport and completing a photo check, or in a Tango shop with a passport, identity card or residence permit. A minor's card must be identified by a legal representative.
- Credit on a new POST TipTop prepaid SIM is valid for 90 days, and each top-up extends the card's validity by 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the amount. Buying a data option does not extend validity, and credit and bonus are lost if no top-up is bought before the credit expires.
- Dial 112 for ambulance, fire and rescue, and 113 for the Grand Ducal Police. The 112 line is free and answered around the clock.
- By law, every caller can reach 112 free of charge and without any means of payment, and every call to 112 is handled by the emergency centre of the national fire and rescue corps, the CGDIS.
- Public warnings under the national LU-Alert system reach foreign phones too. A tourist or cross-border worker whose phone is connected to a Luxembourg operator's antenna when an alert goes out normally receives the cell broadcast message, provided the phone's software supports it.
- LU-Alert also sends warnings by SMS to phones in the affected area, including those on foreign numbers. On some foreign numbers the message arrives from an ordinary phone number rather than the sender name LU-Alert, because some countries turn text sender names into numbers.
- A consumer who changes provider can ask the old provider to refund any remaining prepaid credit. The provider may charge a fee for the refund only if the contract says so, and the fee must reflect its real costs.
- A consumer living in Luxembourg or anywhere in the EU can ask the regulator's mediation service to settle a dispute with a Luxembourg telecom provider, once a complaint has first been made to the provider and no court case is under way.
