在汶萊使用 Orbislo 的一般下載速度：58 Mbps。這明顯高於亞洲的中位數 43.9 Mbps。

第十百分位是 15 Mbps。中位數和下限之間有這樣的落差很常見，煩躁也就從這裡來：多數時候很快，在最擁擠的那幾個百分比的時刻明顯變慢，通常發生在尖峰時段的車站和機場。

抵達汶萊之後

落地後只有一件事要檢查：Orbislo 這條門號的數據漫遊必須打開。iOS 和 Android 預設都是關閉的，而這裡的漫遊跟資費無關，因為方案是預付的，根本沒有帳單會被灌爆。把 Orbislo 那條打開、原本那條關著，你原本的號碼就能繼續接電話和銀行驗證碼，而且不會產生費用。

在汶萊辦當地 SIM 卡

自 2024 年九月 4 日起，預付 SIM 卡必須先記在具名持有人下才能使用。訪客以自己國家的護照正本登記，可以親自到業者門市辦理，或透過該業者的線上平台辦理。

在汶萊受限的服務

Online gambling: Brunei treats online gambling as illegal under the Common Gaming House Act, enforced by the Royal Brunei Police Force, so a visitor should not place bets online while in the country, even through an app that is legal at home.
False information online: Spreading false information is an offence under section 34 of the Public Order Act, and the regulator states that what is unlawful offline is treated the same way online, which covers posts on social media and messages forwarded in chat apps.
Traffic management: Brunei's regulator requires network operators and internet providers not to discriminate between types of data, but it allows traffic management for national security, emergency services, law enforcement and content regulation.

關於汶萊值得知道的事

Registering a prepaid SIM through an operator's app or website must verify the buyer, either by capturing photos or video of the person and their documents or by a live biometric check. Each operator's online platform needs the regulator's approval before it can be used.
When a registered prepaid SIM changes hands, the registered holder has to tell the operator, which then records the line under the new user's name. A local SIM passed on to a friend therefore still has to be re-registered.
DST's Easi Tourist SIM has a fixed life of 30 days and then expires automatically, although its credit can be topped up during that time. Visitors staying longer than 30 days are pointed to the standard prepaid SIM instead.
DST add-on data packs expire to the exact minute of their stated validity, so a one day pack bought at 10:59 AM ends at 10:58 AM the next day. DST sends texts at 80 and 100 percent of use, but no text when a pack expires.
A prepaid customer whose validity has lapsed is entitled to get the same number back on request within three months of the expiry date, under the regulator's General Duties Code.
If a service is unavailable or severely degraded for more than seven days in a row, the operator must automatically give a pro rata adjustment or extend the subscription's validity within two billing cycles, unless the cause is force majeure.
A customer whose complaint gets no response from the operator within 48 hours, or who is unhappy with the outcome, can take it to the regulator AITI online. That covers missing coverage, dropped calls, billing errors and mobile broadband speed.
The Royal Brunei Police Force hotline is 993, which the regulator also gives as the number for reporting online crimes such as hacked accounts, malware and scams run through social networks or dating apps.
