在新加坡，119 Mbps 實際代表什麼

在新加坡使用 Orbislo 的一般下載速度：119 Mbps。這明顯高於亞洲的中位數 43.9 Mbps。

第十百分位是 42 Mbps。中位數和下限之間有這樣的落差很常見，煩躁也就從這裡來：多數時候很快，在最擁擠的那幾個百分比的時刻明顯變慢，通常發生在尖峰時段的車站和機場。

這個速度下，手機上做的任何事都不會被連線拖住。視訊通話很順，筆電開熱點可以撐一整個工作天，大批照片備份也不必特地安排時間。

你會連上哪些電信網路

在新加坡，Orbislo 透過 Singtel 和 StarHub 傳送你的流量。你的手機不會被綁在其中一家。當你所在的網路壅塞或斷線時，設定檔會把你換到另一家，過程沒有任何提示，你唯一會察覺到的就是連線一直沒斷。

這件事比檯面上的速度更重要。現在市面上的旅行 eSIM 幾乎都只是把每個國家的單一上游合約轉賣出去，所以那個網路狀況不好的那一小時，你就跟著不好，唯一的辦法是再向別家買第二張 eSIM。背後有多個網路的設定檔，可以替你做一個你永遠不會看到的決定。

新加坡的 5G：有，獨立組網。值得知道的是，旅行設定檔能用 5G 是常態而非特例，真正決定旅程體感的是上面那個第十百分位，不是狀態列上的世代標示。

只接一家電信商的業者，做不到這個切換。

在新加坡的上網費用

新加坡的 100 MB 方案從 $0.30 起，換算下來每 GB 是 $0.00。比較不同業者時該看的就是這個數字，因為掛在不同流量上的標價其實什麼都說明不了。

多數業者不太希望你做的比較，是實際用掉的每 GB 成本。針對旅行數據的獨立調查指出，購買的流量中有 20% 到 35% 因為過期而消失，因為第三十天到期的方案會直接刪掉你沒用完的部分。Orbislo 的流量沒有到期日，你付過錢的那一 GB，下一趟旅行還在。同樣的標價，等於多出 25% 到 40% 真正能用的流量；在新加坡，這代表實際成本比較接近每 GB $0.00，而不是 $0.00。

因為不會過期，買新加坡的流量最省的方式，是買得比你以為需要的少一點，不夠再加值。加值大約十秒就好，也不用安裝任何東西。買太多在別的地方是昂貴的錯誤，在這裡只是沒差。

抵達新加坡之後

出發前先在家裡的 WLAN 上安裝。設定檔會在你還有可信任的連線時下載完成，接著就靜靜待著，直到你降落在新加坡並連上 Singtel。

落地後只有一件事要檢查：Orbislo 這條門號的數據漫遊必須打開。iOS 和 Android 預設都是關閉的，而這裡的漫遊跟資費無關，因為方案是預付的，根本沒有帳單會被灌爆。把 Orbislo 那條打開、原本那條關著，你原本的號碼就能繼續接電話和銀行驗證碼，而且不會產生費用。

在新加坡辦當地 SIM 卡

SIM 卡憑政府核發的身分證件登記，線上登記則透過 Singpass 進行。外國護照根本不能用來登記後付門號，所以留給訪客的路是預付。

在新加坡受限的服務

Passport registered SIMs: Under IMDA rules in force since 15 July 2024, a prepaid SIM registered with a passport stays valid for 30 days. Keeping it longer means re-registering within those 30 days with a Singapore issued identity card or work pass; otherwise the card is suspended without refund.
Calls on tourist SIMs: Singtel sells its hi! Tourist plans to foreign passport holders only, and registration with a passport gives data features only. Local calls and SMS stay switched off until the traveller visits a Singtel hi! retailer in Singapore and shows the passport.
Passing on a local SIM: Since a law passed on 2 April 2024, handing over a SIM or eSIM registered in your name, or letting someone register one with your particulars, is an offence when you know or have reason to believe it will be used unlawfully. The penalty is a fine of up to S$10,000, up to three years in prison, or both.

關於新加坡值得知道的事

一個人在 Singapore 所有電信業者合計最多登記 3 張預付 SIM 卡。這個上限在 2014 年四月從 10 張砍到 3 張，之後就一直沒變。
自 2026 年二月 28 日起，一個人在所有電信業者合計最多登記 10 張後付 SIM 卡，取代先前每家業者 10 張的限制。企業門號和不能通話或傳簡訊的純數據卡不計入。
Registration happens at the point of sale and is compulsory. The buyer must present an original document, not a copy, and for a foreign visitor that document is the passport.
Police emergencies are 999, and fire and ambulance emergencies are 995, with 1777 for an ambulance that is not urgent. A mobile phone from abroad that dials 112 or 911 is redirected to 999.
Police also take emergency texts at 70999 when calling 999 is unsafe or impossible, such as when speaking would give away where you are hiding. The police operator replies to confirm the message arrived, and ordinary SMS charges apply to the sender.
Every Singapore telco offers its mobile and home phone subscribers a free setting that blocks all incoming calls and texts from international numbers. A local contact who has it switched on will not receive a call or SMS from a visitor's foreign number, while calls from Singapore numbers still get through.
Since 31 January 2023, any organisation texting Singapore numbers under a name instead of a phone number must be registered with the SMS Sender ID Registry, and names that are not registered arrive labelled Likely-SCAM. A code sent to a local Singapore line by an unregistered foreign sender lands under that label.
Wireless@SG public hotspots at MRT stations, malls, hawker centres and community centres sign users in with a one-time SMS code, and that code can be sent to a foreign mobile number as well as a local one.
