- Delhi Airport gives about 25 minutes from New Delhi Railway Station to Terminal 3 on the Airport Express Line, which now runs on to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.
- The first Airport Express trains leave New Delhi and Dwarka Sector 21 at 4.45am. The last leaves New Delhi at 11.30pm and Dwarka Sector 21 at 11.15pm.
- Terminal 1 IGI Airport station on the Magenta Line is underground, a five to seven minute walk from the terminal through a covered subway with travelators. The line runs roughly from 5.30am to 11.30pm.
- City buses leave from the Public Transportation Centre opposite the Centaur Hotel, 2 km from Terminal 3 and 6.5 km from Terminal 1, with routes to New Delhi and Old Delhi railway stations and the ISBT.
- Long distance buses also run from the airport to Chandigarh, Ambala and Karnal, and to Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar and Pathankot in Punjab.
- Prepaid taxis and app-based cabs wait outside arrivals at all three terminals around the clock. At Terminal 3, app cabs, prepaid taxis and car rentals operate from Level 0 of the multi-level car park.
- Delhi Metro sells Tourist Cards for unlimited travel over one or three days, with a refundable deposit returned when you hand the card back.
- In July 2022 Delhi's airport became the first airport in India to test 5G readiness, under a TRAI pilot that mounted small cells on existing street furniture.
