Conviene saber sobre Limassol
- Limassol no tiene aeropuerto propio: Larnaca está a unos 60 km al noreste y Paphos a unos 50 km al noroeste, ambos aproximadamente a un trayecto de autocar interurbano.
- Los dos aeropuertos están conectados con la ciudad por el Limassol Airport Express, que sale de la estación de Chavouzas y no del paseo marítimo ni del casco antiguo.
- Limassol concentra casi todo el tráfico de pasajeros en barco de Chipre, así que las llegadas en crucero se producen aquí y no en ningún aeropuerto.
- Chipre no tiene ferrocarril de pasajeros desde que el último tren circuló el 31 de diciembre de 1951, así que el traslado al aeropuerto es por carretera sea cual sea el aeropuerto.
