- Driving or taking the train to Malmö, you stay connected through an antenna system called Dominant Cell Øresund. It runs from the Kastrup peninsula through the tunnel and over Peberholm to the Lernacken toll station, and both Danish and Swedish operators use it.
- Øresundsbron measures coverage on the crossing both by car and by train, and notes that carriages weaken radio signal through their shape and sun-shielding windows, which is why trains usually carry their own signal boosters.
- City Pass Small covers buses, trains, metro and harbour buses in zones 1 to 4, which include Copenhagen Airport. It is sold at the airport, at DSB and metro ticket machines and in the Rejsebillet app, for 24 to 120 hours.
- An adult travelling on a City Pass can take two children under 12 free, and the Small, Large and X-Large passes are all valid on the harbour buses that call at The Opera, Nyhavn and The Royal Library.
- Rejsebillet, the nationwide ticket app, sells single and zone tickets paid by card or MobilePay. Buy before boarding: a ticket bought after you step onto a train, bus, metro, light rail or harbour bus can still earn you a control fee.
- DSB trains leave Terminal 3 for Copenhagen Central Station every 10 minutes by day, every 20 minutes in the evening and once an hour at night, and the ride takes about 15 minutes.
- Bus 5C leaves from just outside Terminal 3 and reaches Copenhagen Central Station in about 35 minutes. Along with the A-buses it is one of the main central lines and runs both day and night.
- Taxis wait outside Terminals 1 and 3 and take 20 to 30 minutes to the centre, depending on traffic. Many Copenhagen hotels have fixed airport fares agreed with taxi companies, which helps in rush hour.
- S-trains run from 05:00 until 00:30, then all night on Fridays and Saturdays, when line F drops to a train every half hour. The network covers the wider urban area except Amager.
- Greyhound bus 999 links Malmö with Copenhagen, calling at Terminal 3 of the airport, at Sydhavnen and at Copenhagen Central Station.
- A Copenhagen Card can be bought before the trip and activated in its app on landing at the airport. It covers buses, trains and metro across the Capital Region and entry to 89 attractions and museums.
