- Monaco has its own network, Monaco Telecom. Since 5 March 2024, phones on French networks switch to it automatically throughout the Principality as roaming, so data roaming must be on for apps to work there.
- If a phone shows "No service" in Monaco, the Monaco government advises selecting the Monaco Telecom network manually, or leaving network selection on automatic.
- Nice's free city network, Spot Wifi Nice, covers Cours Saleya, Place Garibaldi, Place Massena, the Promenade du Paillon, Quai des Etats-Unis and the front of the Promenade des Anglais, around the clock, in renewable one-hour sessions.
- Tram rides between Terminal 2, Terminal 1 and Grand Arenas are free, so changing terminals needs no ticket.
- Nice airport's trams run every day except 1 May, when neither line 2 nor line B operates. On weekdays line 2 comes every 7 to 8 minutes and reaches Port Lympia in under 30 minutes.
- Tram line B also leaves from both airport terminals, running to the Centre Administratif about every 10 minutes on weekdays. Lines 2 and B meet tram line 3 to the Allianz Riviera stadium at Grand Arenas.
- The tram ticket machines at Terminals 1 and 2 take coins and bank cards, but the 2 euro rechargeable Lignes d'Azur card is not sold from them; buy it at other tram stops, from retailers or in the app.
- On Android the Lignes d'Azur Tickets app stores tickets on the phone itself. On iPhone it can only top up a Lignes d'Azur contactless card.
- Bus 12+ stops 150 metres from Terminal 1, opposite the Sheraton on the Promenade des Anglais, and runs to Place Massena, the old town and Place Garibaldi. Nothing is sold on board.
- Bus 80 runs from both airport terminals to Monaco and Menton, and you can pay on board by tapping a bank card on the validator. Buses 81 to Cannes and 82 to Antibes use SMS tickets shown to the driver.
- The Pass Sud Azur Explore covers trains, trams and buses across the Alpes-Maritimes and Monaco for 3, 7 or 14 days.
