- Landing at LVI puts you on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. The Zimbabwean side is served by a separate airport, Victoria Falls Airport (IATA VFA, ICAO FVFA), 18 kilometres south of the town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
- Moving between the two sides means an international border crossing: the Victoria Falls Bridge crosses the Zambezi below the falls and carries a road, railway and footway, with border posts on the approaches at both ends, at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia.
