Bon à savoir sur Brasov
- Brașov only got an airport on 15 June 2023; Brașov-Ghimbav was Romania's 17th commercial airport.
- Its schedule is thin and heavily seasonal: Wizz Air is the main scheduled carrier, with Animawings, HiSky, Sky Express and Tailwind flying seasonal or charter services.
- The airport connects to the city by the RATBV A1 express bus every 30 to 60 minutes, taking 20 to 25 minutes.
- RATBV takes contactless bank cards, phones and watches directly at validators marked with Visa or Mastercard logos on its buses and trolleybuses, which it calls Romania's first EMV transit payment service.
- A single RATBV urban journey costs 5 lei and is valid 90 minutes on all urban lines. A one day URBAN PASS costs 20 lei, and a metropolitan journey costs 12 lei.
- RATBV also sells tickets through the 24pay app for Android and iOS, covering urban and metropolitan journeys, with only the fare charged and no commission added.
- Brasov city hall publishes a WiFi4EU hotspot map on its official site, showing the free public wireless points across the municipality.
- WiFi4EU hotspots use the network name WiFi4EU everywhere in Europe. A first connection goes to a captive portal with click to connect sign in, and no new login is needed within 12 hours.
- The Brasov Ghimbav passenger information page lists parking, car rental desks and customs control. It does not list terminal wifi or a SIM counter.
- CFR Calatori has timed a Brasov to Bucuresti Nord run at 2 hours 37 minutes, calling at Predeal, Azuga, Busteni, Sinaia, Comarnic, Campina and Ploiesti Vest.
- From 14 March 2026 CFR Calatori runs Alstom electric trains on Bucuresti Nord to Brasov, Sighisoara, Deva, Arad and Timisoara Nord, putting Brasov on a cross country service.

- RATBV line 20 links Livada Postei in central Brasov with Poiana Brasov. The city publishes the resort's cable car tariffs, at 40 lei for a single adult ascent.
