- El LTE entró en servicio en las ocho líneas del U-Bahn el 31 de marzo de 2017, con equipos en los propios túneles y una línea de fibra de 10 Gbit por segundo que los alimenta.
- El S1 y el S8 se alternan para dar un tren cada 10 minutos, y el S8 circula 24 horas al día, bajando a uno cada 40 minutos entre la 1am y las 4am.
- Munich Airport se inauguró el 17 de mayo de 1992, un día después del cierre de Munich-Riem, y la Terminal 2 llegó el 29 de junio de 2003.

- The ÜFEX airport express train runs from the Flughafen Muenchen station between the terminals straight to Freising, Moosburg, Landshut, Regensburg and Nuremberg, so day trips to those cities need no change in Munich.
- Flixbus coaches to cities across Germany and Europe stop a few steps from Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is a five to ten minute walk away.
- A rental car needs a green emissions sticker to drive inside the Mittlerer Ring, and the ring road itself is part of the low emission zone. Older diesels below Euro 5 are barred unless an exemption applies.
